    The object of the invention is to improve a folding box of foldable flat material of the type described above such that in addition to improved comfort and the consumption of entrained food and drinks from the opened Faltbox easier and the problem of possible contamination of clothing when eating the food and Drinks is minimized.
    This object is achieved in accordance with the invention, in each case a laterally fixed to the lid portion, foldable when opening the lid portion support portion is formed on the side walls, which fixes the lid portion after opening substantially parallel to the rear wall and at right angles to the bottom area.

    The essential advantage of the invention consists in the fact that, after opening the folding box, a tray which can be suspended around the neck of a person is formed which, in the form of the bottom area of the folding box, is oriented essentially horizontally, supported by the side walls and the foldable support sections is fastened in the area of the upper body of the person.     The folding box 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of a foldable flat material and is used to hold ready meals, desserts and drinks. The folding box has a bottom portion 2, a front wall 3, a rear wall 4 and two side walls 5, wherein the closable lid portion is denoted by 6. On the side walls 5, a laterally attached to the lid portion 6, foldable when opening the lid portion support portion 7 is formed, which fixes the lid portion 6 after opening substantially parallel to the rear wall 4 and perpendicular to the bottom portion 2. The support portion 7 is formed here in one piece from the same material as the Faltbox, but may also consist of a strip material which is dimensioned such that when the lid portion 6, the desired position of the bottom portion 2 is fixed.
    Furthermore, the Faltbox has a retaining loop 8 which engages the lid portion.     Notwithstanding the illustrated embodiment, the retaining strap 8 may also consist of a strip material which engages the free end of the lid portion 6.
    After the hanging loop 8 is formed when the cover section 6 is open, an optimum hanging position is created in the region of the upper body of the person carrying the folding box, whereby convenient access to the food and drinks stored in the folding box is possible.
    As shown in FIG. 1, the folding box 1 can be produced as a flat blank in the stamping method from a flat material, for example made of cardboard, coated cardboard or plastic. In this illustration, all punched edges, incisions and cutouts are shown as solid lines and all fold lines, which can preferably be folded in the same operation, shown as dashed lines.
    In the illustrated embodiment, the retaining loop 8 is attached via a fold line 10 at the front edge 11 of the lid portion 6 and has a 4/14. 4
    Base section 12, which is fixed with closed folding box 1 (see FIG. 2) by means of lateral locking elements 13, 13 'on the side walls 5. (see detail of FIG. 4). This base section 12 unfolds when the folding box 1 is open in extension of the lid section 6 (see FIG. 3), which ensures even better that the opened folding box is in an optimal hanging position after being folded.
    According to the invention, the retaining loop 8 is fixed with closed folding box 1 by means of the locking elements 13, 13 'preferably in the report of the center of the lid portion 6, wherein the retaining loop 8 is used when shot box 1 as a carrying handle.
